Arming the Panel


1) Enter a valid user code.
2) Press the Hash [#] Button to Arm.
3) Two beeps will be heard.
4) The AWAY LED / LCD Segment will now Illuminate, and the Exit delay will commence.

Disarming the Panel


1) Enter a valid user code.
2) Press the Hash [#] Button.
3) The keypad will beep 2 times when the panel is disarmed.

Bypassing (Switching Off) Zones on Arming


Manual Bypass Programming allows you to program the alarm system to ignore (deactivate) specified zones the next time the system is armed.
For example, you may wish to bypass certain zones when workers are renovating part of your establishment.
Please note that a Fire Zone cannot be bypassed.

1) Press the Star [*] Button Twice.
2) Select the Zones that you wish to bypass by pressing the corresponding zone number.
3) Press the Star [*] button to Save the Bypassed zone entry.
4) Continue adding each zone to Bypass by repeating steps 2) and 3)
5) Press the Hash [#] Button
6) The keypad will beep twice, and the selected zones will be bypassed next time the system is armed.

Force Arming the alarm


Force arming allows you to rapidly arm the system without waiting for all zones in the system to close.
During Force arming, a Force zone is considered “deactivated” until it closes, after which the system will arm that zone.
Force arming is commonly used when a motion detector is protecting the area occupied by a keypad.
For example, when arming the system from within a Force zone, the system will allow you to arm even if the zone is open, and the system will arm the zone once it closes.

1) Press the Hash [#] button.
2) Two beeps will be heard.
3) The AWAY LED / LCD Segment will now Illuminate, and the Exit delay will commence.

Home (Stay) Arming the alarm


This method allows you to remain in the protected area while partially arming the system.
Stay zones are zones that are bypassed when Stay arming.
For example, when you go to sleep at night, doors and windows can be armed without arming other zones like motion detectors.

1) Enter a valid user code.
2) Press the Star [*] button.
3) The STAY LED / LCD Segment will now Illuminate.

Viewing the Alarm Memory


If a zone has been triggered whilst the alarm system is in its Armed state,
the [MEM] button will Illuminate indicating that thr alarm has been triggered.
To display the zones have been triggered,
1) Press the [MEM] Button
2) the zones that have been triggered will Be displayed on the keypad.

Changing User Codes


To change user access codes, you will first require the Master code.
1) Enter the master code. (Default code is 2580)
2) Press [1], followed by the Hash [#] or [AWAY] button.
3) The stay and away indicators will begin to flash on the keypad.
4) Enter the user number (1-34) then press the Hash [#] or [AWAY] Key.
5) Two beeps will be heard, indicating that the system is ready for the new user code.
6) Enter the new code for the user selected (The code should be 4 digits long.
7) Press the Hash [#] or [AWAY] button.
8) The code for the selected user will be changed, and the system will exit this mode.

Chime Zones


Chime Zones are not supported by this alarm system.

System Trouble Codes


If a system fault has been detected, the Fault or Mains Indicator will flash, and the keypad will beep once every minute.
To determine the system fault,
  • Press and Hold button [5] until 2 beeps are heard.
  • The fault indicator will remain on, and the STAY and AWAY Indicators will flash in unison with each other.
  • The Fault Number will be displayed as a Zone number on the Keypad.
  • Zone 1 - Battery Fail (Replace the Backup Battery ASAP)
    Zone 2 - Date and Time Loss (Program the Date and Time to reset this error).
    Zone 3 - Sensor Watch (A sensor has not been triggered for a default period of time).
    Zone 4 - Horn Speaker Fail (The Siren has been disconnected from the system).
    Zone 5 - Telephone Line Fail (No voltage is present on the phone line to the system).
    Zone 6 - E2 Fault (Internal Checksum Error - Replace Panel).
    Zone 7 - Zone 16 in alarm (Partitioned system only).
    Zone 8 - Communication Fault (Check phone line dial tone, and Communication settings).
    NOTE : Clearing Communication Faults
    The communication fault will clear once an alarm transmission has been
    successfully sent by the alarm panel.
    To FORCE a transmission, Press and Hold the [9] button until two beeps are heard from the keypad.

    Setting the Time and Date


    If the alarm panel has lost power, it may require the system time and date to be set.
    1) Enter the master code. (Default code is 2580)
    2) Press [6], followed by the Hash [#] or [AWAY] button.
    3) The stay and away indicators will begin to flash on the keypad.
    4) Enter the day of the month, as a 2 digit number (DD).
    5) Enter the month, as a 2 digit number (MM).
    6) Enter the year, as a 2 digit number (YY) E.g. 2005 would be 05.
    7) Enter the current hour, as a 2 digit (24 Hour) number (HH) E.g. 11:00pm would be 23.
    8) Enter the current minute, as a 2 digit number (MM).
    9) Press the Hash [#] or [AWAY] button.
    10) Two beeps will be heard, indicating that the date and time has been accepted.
    11) If a long beep was heard, it means that the Date and Time entry was rejected.

    Testing the System


    To test the Horn / Siren.
    Press and Hold the [1] button until two beeps are heard from the keypad.
    The Horn / Siren will sound for 2 seconds.

    To test the Bell / Siren.
    Press and Hold the [2] button until two beeps are heard from the keypad.
    The Bell / Siren will sound for 2 seconds.

    To test the Strobe.
    Press and Hold the [3] button until two beeps are heard from the keypad.
    The Strobe will flash for 2 seconds.

    To send a test report.
    Press and Hold the [9] button until two beeps are heard from the keypad.
    The system will send a test report to the monitoring station.

    Walk Test Mode
    1) Enter the master code. (Default code is 2580)
    2) Press [4], followed by the Hash [#] or [AWAY] button.
    3) The stay and away indicators will begin to flash on the keypad.
    4) The Keypad will beep once every second to remind you that walk test mode is activated.
    5) Once a sensor is triggered, the siren will sound briefly.
    6) Press the Hash [#] or [AWAY] button to exit walk test mode.
