Chapter 4 Training
Section 1 Behavior and Instinct of Dogs
An understanding of dog behavior based on their animal instincts, sensory perception and attributes, physiology, intelligence and motivation
Section 2 General Principles of Dog Training
A practical knowledge of how dogs' mentality operates, what specific training methods are required and how to monitor and evaluate the dog's proficiency
Section 3 Basic Obedience Training
Basic commands and obedience training including evaluation of skills and assessment of proficiency of dog and handler to achieve complete cooperation and control

Chapter 5 Health, Care and Feeding

Chapter 6 Utilization of Sentry Dogs

Encompasses the organisation, structure and personnel requirements of security dog operations and facilities as well as logistics, schedules and ongoing training
Section 2 Principles of Utilisation
Covers use of equipment and resources, deployment of manpower and animals, deployment strategies, standing orders and procedures, visible warnings, signboards and the principles of all aspects of utilisation of security dogs and associated equipment.
Section 3 Areas of Utilisation
Describes various areas of application as well as specific site types and environments for the deployment of security guard dogs
Chapter 7 Logistical support and Administration
Section 1 Kennels and Runs
Specific directions regarding the location and construction of housing and facilities including design, materials, water, lighting, fire protection, sanitation and signboards as well as kenneling
