Security dogs are specially raised and trained animals that are able to detect intruders, before typical security staff can, by using their acute hearing and sense of smell.
This is particularly true at night when they can sense an intruder up to 500 meters away.

How do Compound Security Dogs work?
H&H Security provides detailed information on how compound guard dogs can best secure your site, property, and assets.
Compound security dog sites require a large perimeter fence line, such as a
secure chain link fence, brick, fence, or some physical barrier to ensure that the compound security dog is kept away from the public, and within the confines of the property being protected.
The fence should be at least 1.8 metres in height, and secure enough that it would be difficult for a person to break or knock down.
Once H&H Security has ascertained that your property is suitable for use with our compound security dog service, a dog kennel is installed on the protected premises.
A security dog kennel is about half the size of a shipping container, and ensures that the compound security dogs have adequate shelter, ventilation, and room to move.
Once installation of the security dog kennel is completed, a team consiting of two dogs is housed on site, to provide guard services.
On a day to day basis, when the compound security dogs are to be released, the site manager will secure the perimeter fence, and then activate the kennel dog release, allowing the kennel door to be opened, and dispatching the guard dogs for duty.
A trained H&H Security dog handler will visit the Security Dog site daily and execute the following duties:-
Ensure that the dogs are in good health, and good spirits
Provide fresh food and water in the kennel
Inspect the kennel for damage, or potential problems
Clean the kennel, ensuring that it is fit for use
Clear the surrounding area of any droppings that may have been left by the security dogs
The H&H Security dog handler will visit the compound dog premises at a time scheduled by the client to safely return the dogs to their allocated kennel, allowing staff to return to the site and resume their duties.
